He lives with his wife and son in a small village in the Messina province of Sicily. Giovanni Ruello is an italian illustrator and visual storyteller living in Berlin. He was born in Messina in 1980. He holds a Master of Science in Engineering, but he always followed his drawing passion and completed a vocational training in Graphic Design. Giovanni created comics and illustrations for both printing and digital applications, including books as well as videogames and apps. Enthusiastic about live sketching and graphic facilitation, he leads workshops about visual storytelling.
