About the Author

John Shannon Hendrix is a professor of art and architectural history. He teaches at the Rhode Island School of Design and Roger Williams University. He is also a visiting Professor at the University of Lincoln, UK. He has written books on architecture, aesthetics, philosophy, and psychoanalysis, such as Architecture as Cosmology: Lincoln Cathedral and English Gothic Architecture, published in 2011.
