Charles F. Haanel nacio en Ann Arbor, Michigan. La familia se traslado a St. Louis, Missouri cuando Charles era un nino. Fue miembro del Partido Republicano, del cuerpo docente de la universidad de Psicoterapia de Londres, de la Liga de Autores de America, de la Sociedad Americana de la Investigacion Psiquica, de la Asociacion Terapeutica Sugestiva Americana y de la Liga de la Ciencia de America. En su vida, Haanel recibio varios doctorados academicos honorarios. Esta obra fue publicada en 1912 y antes de 1933 se habian vendido mas de 200,000 copias en todo el mundo. Haanel was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan. His family moved to St. Louis, Missouri when Charles was a child. His first job was as an office worker for a company in St. Louis, where he worked for fifteen years before achieving success as a writer and entrepreneur. He was a member of the Republican Party, of the faculty of the University of Psychotherapy of London, of the Authors Guild of America, of the American Society for Psychical Research, of the American Suggestive Therapeutics Association and of the League of Science of America. In his life, Haanel received several academic honorary doctorates. This work was published in 1912 and before 1933 it had sold more than 200,000 copies worldwide. Haanel practiced the financial principles he preached and owned several major companies, being president of Continental Commercial Company, Sacramento Valley Improvement Company and Mexico Gold & Silver Mining Company."
