About the Author

Acclaimed as one of America s first silat teachers, Burton Richardson also teaches krav maga and muay Thai kickboxing. He has studied with many of the world s top martial artists, including Egan Inoue and Dan Inosanto, and is a black belt with three stripes in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and a full instructor in Bruce Lee s jeet kune do and Jun Fan kung fu concepts. Richardson resides in Honolulu, Hawaii, but conducts martial arts seminars worldwide."
