About the Author

Steve Bolt is a practising lawyer based in Lismore, northern NSW. Prior to establishing his own practice. Steve was the Principal Solicitor at Northern Rivers Community Legal Centre for eight years, and worked on a major drug law reform project at Redfern Legal Centre from 1993 to 1996. He is a passionate advocate for community legal education, civil rights and drug law reform and has been involved in many of the leading campaigns promoting these causes in NSW.
