About the Author

Dr Bruce Manners has a doctorate in sociology and now enjoys retirement with his wife, Margie, in suburban Melbourne. He has two adult children and enjoys grandparenthood. He has worked as a professional fisherman, a magazine editor, a church pastor and, in retirement, as a retirement coach.
