An ideal reference book for all railway modellers with a keen interest in Scottish railways and for all those with a love for railway architecture generally
Brian Dickson worked in the printing and publishing industries in Edinburgh and London for over 35 years before retiring in 2000. Born in Edinburgh, he is a keen railway enthusiast who watched the city's changing railway scene throughout the 1960s until the end of main-line steam traction in 1967. This will be his tenth book, and his third for Kestrel. He is an active driver and volunteer fireman at one of Britain's heritage railways.
