About the Author

Artist and illustrator Tomoko Tashiro was born in Tokyo, Japan. She graduated from Tama Art University, Department of Painting, with a major in Japanese painting studying under Fumiko Hori. Tashiro has been actively involved in a wide range of projects, including book cover designs, illustrations, magazine advertisements, department store window displays for Shinjuku Isetan and Shinjuku Odakyu Ace, as well as package illustrations for the cosmetics companies Kose and Shiseido.
