Professor Martin Millett is Laurence Professor of Classical Archaeology and a Fellow of Fitzwilliam College, University of Cambridge. He is author of The Romanization of Britain: an essay in archaeological interpretation (Cambridge University Press, 1990 ) and Roman Britain (English Heritage/Batsford, Second edition 2005) among other publications.
