Steve Pope, a former editor of the Voice newspaper, is a major writer for Britain's biggest selling black newspaper, New Nation. Among a long list of journalistic 'credits' he caused Fleet Street outrage when he called fellow journos 'merchant bankers' while covering Tony Blair's state visit to South Africa.
