About the Author

While known for years as an art quilter, Mickey Depre was secretly a dedicated piecer, at home making bed quilts for her family. If you look closely at her art quilts, you will see traditional piecing found its way into many of them in the form of backgrounds. After all, it is Mickey's saying that "There is enough fabric in the studio to make both art and traditional quilts."
