Geraldine McCaughrean lives in London, England. She has won every major U.K. children's book award, including the Carnegie Medal, the Guardian Children's Fiction Award, Whitbread Award (twice) and the Blue Peter Book of the Year Award. Her novel STOP THE TRAIN! was named a 2003 ALA Notable.
