Reviews

This is a pioneering and innovative work. One does not need to agree with all points of interpretation in this book to profit from it and to feel free to recommend it to others. Femi Adeyemi is an original thinker who challenges traditional views of certain passages (for example, the referent of 'law' [torah] in Jeremiah 31:33). On the whole, he has built a strong case for his position, and I have found his work to be stimulating. My word to other readers: Read this book with an open mind, and evaluate it objectively. (Kenneth L. Barker, Executive Director (Retired), NIV Translation Center, Lewisville, Texas; General Editor, The NIV Study Bible) 'The New Covenant Torah in Jeremiah and the Law of Christ in Paul' is a solid analysis of the various views circulating in New Testament studies on the contrasts between the Old Torah, the role of the law, the Torah of Christ, and New Covenant in Paul. This study will stimulate your thinking, bring you up to date on the discussion, and leave you with much to reflect upon. (Darrell Bock, Research Professor of New Testament Studies, Dallas Theological Seminary, Texas)
