About the Author

Author Aija Monique Butler, was born in San Diego California, in 1979. She currently resides in the San Francisco Bay area. She is a Residential Care Facility Administrator for the State of California, Specializing in Acute Care, Dementia, and Diabetes, for the elderly. She is an Advocate and Philanthropist for non-profit program development in the areas of Youth and Social Service Development. She is a grant writer and has an academic background in psychology and medicine. Aija has a love for the arts and is a writer of poetry, both fiction, and non-fiction novels, memoirs, and screen plays. Aija Butler, is the founder and executive director of, "Dis Me, The Blog Diary's," A Literary group which looks to help students learn how to use effective communication in expressing thoughts and feelings with their peers and elders. This advocacy program is dedicated to an effort to cease violence among teens and bullying in schools. The Blog diaries will be introduced to schools located in Contra Costa County, in an effort to improve teacher/student and parent/child relations. This program will educate youth and adults about how to express, and resolve issues. Also she will be starting a column entitled Life Honestly After, a "Dear Aija," segment that will look into the questions and answers about our many life after moments. Other written works by Aija Butler, include the Fiction Mystery Suspense Drama, My Nemesis a 4 part book series, "Under Lock and Key," Fiction Drama, Non-Fiction Memoirs, "Life Honestly After, The Undeniable Truth, The Fine Print, and Short Story Series, The Rebirth of My Soul, Born Again, The Resurrection," an intimate look at her walk with illness, sharing her journey through recovery and independence. In addition to those listed above, Aija is the author of the X-files Series, Book Two Spin Cycle and Hot Tottie will be released the summer and fall of 2012, Urban Street novel, Hood Bound, August 2012. She is the Poet/Songstress of the Poetic Experience, My Butterfly Effect debuting December 2012, and Non-Fiction Poetic Memoirs, In the Mourning and 365 Days. She is also co-author of Real or Fantasy short story collection which will hit the world of literature in June of 2012.
