About the Author

Tom never walked on the moon, he never played in a Super Bowl, never drove a race car - he's just a regular guy who worked his way up from the streets and of Brooklyn, NY and had guts to follow his dreams. More than two decades ago, searching for his inner drive, Tom walked out of the mainstream world of regular guys and submerged himself in the motorcycle underworld on the lower eastside of Manhattan. This was the first time Tom took a left turn when everyone else was going right. Yet, even in the seedy underworld, he met good people - mentors who shaped his perspective relating to going after your dream. After four years of motorcycle gang life in NYC, Tom dodged death and was able to obtain a respectable job as a New York City Subway Train Conductor. Working quickly up the ranks, Tom became the Director for Customer Communications for the Long Island Rail Road. After 13 years of service Tom, once known as "The Hawk from New York," left his job and purchased a franchise. He built the business and in less than five years he sold it and semi-retired at 41-years old. Now, on a daily basis Tom inspires people to realize their dreams, too. How did Tom get from the streets of NYC to become a successful business person? The answer is: he was prepared when opportunity knocked. He also learned that you have to have enough faith in yourself and the universe so when you take a left when everyone else is going right you will find your destination. Everyone has a passion in their soul, for some it's burning, for others it's snoozing. Tom's intension is to stir that passion. Tom will take you on a journey and you will learn what he uses for his vehicle for success through his book and speeches. He will take you from riding motorcycles to riding trains to flying planes to running successful businesses - as a regular guy...but with enthusiasm, energy and faith.
