About the Author

Margaret Forrester was born and brought up in Edinburgh. She worked in India and England before returning to Edinburgh where she was a Church of Scotland minister and chaplain to two primary schools. She is the author of My Cat Mac, the first picture book about Mac and Catriona, and The Cat Who Decided, a novel about Mac for 6 to 9-year-olds. Sandra Klaassen was born in the Netherlands but has lived on the Isle of North Uist in the Outer Hebrides since 2003, from where she drew her inspiration for her picture book, Uan the Little Lamb. She has illustrated many children's books, including picture book My Cat Mac, and The Cat Who Decided, a novel for 6 to 9-year-olds.
