About the Author

Judith, in her real life, has been a part of sacred women's circles for over twenty years and knows first-hand how important spirituality is when dealing with life's challenges. Her imagination has always been active and through books she's been a princess rescued from the tower by the handsome knight, a missionary in India, explorer in the Amazon jungle, a priestess of the Goddess, and a nun to name a few. She's lived with people from all walks of life including different tribes of indigenous people on five continents in tents, wood cabins, igloos, castles, mansions, high-rise apartments, penthouses, dungeons, basements, and cottages. Then one day in Judith's real life, the stories that make up The Sacred Women's Circle series flooded through her in daydreams, lucid dreams, and conversations so real at times she wondered about her sanity. It was a compelling experience! An experience that was a catalyst to starting her journey to tell these stories and see them published. While romance is not a genre I usually read, I found the characters so interesting and well-developed that I was captured by the story, looking forward to what would happen next. As part of a sacred women's circle myself, it was nice to recognize the supportive bond among the group of women, and to realize how that loving, spiritual bond helped Lily to grow through the difficult challenges of old fears. Judith Ashley's Lily caught my attention in the first chapter and held it tight until the last page. I found myself wondering what character I would be in the book and responding as if I was a friend of the characters! Romance, personal growth, and a supportive spiritual circle...how can one not become wrapped into this book? The story of their compromises and coming together in agreement showing what true love really means is well written and emotional. As each faces their own demons and work to keep them from overtaking their present and future.

Well written with characters that share their pain and discovery from an author I have not read before. I look forward to meeting the other women and watching as their worlds expand to include the love they were yearning for. Jeannie - 5 starsI enjoyed reading this book and I am looking forward to reading the other books in this series. At first glance I thought it was going to be a challenge, but it was an easy read. (I feared that it was going to "jump around" to much.) I fell in love with the characters, and actually hated getting to the end. I love books that take me on an adventure and brings out all my emotions, and this one did just that, bravo Ms. Ashley.
