Reviews

"Fabregas demonstrates lyrically, softly, powerfully and convincingly that even as tragedy is part of life, so is the possibility of happiness and the gratitude for humanity regained. She writes with a confident balance of tones and timbres of voices, of cultural landscapes and national states of mind, but also with an incandescent sense of what is always human everywhere." -Mika Provata-Carlone, Bookanista; "This is a small novel with significant depth... A finely crafted novel of either serendipity or fate-we never know."-Kirkus Reviews; "Fabregas has written an absorbing book that explores themes of identity, human connections, art and language. This is one of those books that perfectly lends itself to a deep and interesting discussion with other bibliophiles and is deserving of multiple reads." The Bookbinder's Daughter; "A beautiful blend of philosophical depth and suspense."-Boek Magazine; "A cleverly constructed story in which a box filled with ashes plays a key role; in fact, it serves as a metaphor for the elusive nature of art." -Danielle Serdijn, De Volkskrant; "An inventive novel that keeps you guessing till the end." -Esta; "Landing is captivating from start to finish." -Marieke Dijkman, Nu.nl
