Marva D. Bicknell was born in the "Cherokee Strip" in Southeast Kansas. She brings her delight of her native peoples, experience in motherhood of a son born with Down syndrome, and talents for wordsmithing to light in this edition of "Jon's Bouncing Ball." She devotes much of her time as a professional technical writer, freelance editor, and independent consultant in Nashville, Tennessee where she currently resides. In addition, she enjoys time with her daughters Raychel, a nurse; Ella, a mental health counselor; and son Jon, an outstanding athlete.
