About the Author

Bryan Brown was educated at Cheney School, Oxford, founded by John Henry Brookes and Oxford College of Technology before training as a designer at Manchester College of Art and Design. He was made an Honorary Fellow of Oxford Brookes University in 2005. He has published other works, including a biography of the pioneering photographer Henry Taunt.
