Dennis de Peiza is a veteran trade Union leader in Barbados. A teacher by profession, he holds a Masters Degree in Public Administration from the University of Baltimore, Maryland, USA. He has worked as a Adjunct Lecturer in the teaching of Industrial Relations at the Cave Hill School of Business, and as a Part time Lecturer with attachments to the Department of Management Studies and Social Sciences respectively, Cave Hill Campus, University of the West Indies. He is also served as a Part Time Tutor at the Open Campus of University of the West Indies, located in the Pine, St. Michael, Barbados. Dennis de Peiza is the author of the book, 'Issues and Responses' which was published in 2006. The book features a collection of articles, speeches and commentaries on industrial relations, education, cultural, socio-economic and political issues. In 2011 he launched his second work, entitled 'Guidelines to Fire and Emergency Procedures Manual.' In December, 2013, his third book 'Effective Management and Best Practice in the Workplace' was published. In 2014, he launched the book 'Contemporary Issues in Public Administration.
