About the Author

KATHARINE GRAVES, leading hypnobirthing teacher and the founder of KG Hypnobirthing, has personally taught hypnobirthing to over 2,000 mothers. Katharine is a member of the International Advisory Board of the HypnoFertility Foundation of America, the Maternity and Newborn Forum of the Royal Society of Medicine, the Association for the Improvement of Maternity Services(AIMS), and an associate member of the Royal College of Midwives. Katharine trained as a doula with Michel Odent, the internationally renowned obstetrician. Katharine also lectures and teaches internationally and has trained 500 teachers in the KG Hypnobirthing Teacher Training Course, accredited by the Royal College of Midwives. The KG Hypnobirthing course is taught independently and in NHS hospitals in the UK, and widely available around the world.
