Paul A. Shackel is an American anthropologist and a Professor of Anthropology at the University of Maryland, College Park.

Barbara J. Little is an Adjunct Professor of Anthropology and an Affiliate of the Center for Heritage Resource Studies at the University of Maryland, College Park.
