Pradip Kumar Datta is the author of Carving Blocs: Communal Ideology in Early Twentieth-Century Bengal (1999) and one of the co-authors of Khaki Shorts and Saffron Flag: A Critique of the Hindu Right (1993). He is also the editor of Rabindranath Tagore's 'Home and the World': A Critical Companion (2002). He teaches at the Department of Political Science, University of Delhi.
