Che Guevara's classic text is not just a book of tactics, it's a closely reasoned, finely detailed and impassioned analysis of third world exploitation and its effects on the exploited.
Che Guevara is the most famous revolutionary icon in the world. He dedicated his life to leading an armed revolt against the poverty and injustice rife in South and Latin America. He fought alongside Fidel Castro in the Cuban Revolution of 1956-59 and became the Rebel Army commander, in this position he started to form the revolutionary ideology and military strategies that are the basis for Guerrilla Warfare. Che left Cuba in 1965 to spread his revolutionary message, fighting in the Congo before returning to Latin America with the intention of sparking a hemisphere-wide guerrilla uprising. He was executed in Bolivia, in 1967.
