About the Author

Jason Cowley is the new editor of the Granta magazine. He was previously editor of the Observer Sport Monthly. He was literary editor of New Statesman and a long-time contributing editor for Prospect, for which he now writes a literary column. He was recently shortlisted for the newspaper magazine editor of the year in the British Society of Magazine Editors Awards.
