About the Author

Prolific author J. Patrick Lewis has been honored as America's Children's Poet Laureate (2011-13) and garnered the 2011 National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE) Excellence in Children's Poetry Award.

Swiss artist Monique Felix has illustrated more than 40 celebrated children's books, including Creative Editions' popular Mouse Book series, The Rumor, The Velveteen Rabbit, and Tuba Lessons.
