About the Author

I am an aspiring author who has been writing daily devotionals since 2008. My first devotional book, Glasses in the Grass: Devotions for My Friends was released in May 2013. It has been well received in many channels and has been instrumental in changing lives. It is available on Amazon as an eBook, softcover, or hardcover.
My devotionals are written with the perspective that our lives are parables being lived out daily. Parables are earthly stories that give us insight into God's message for our lives.
The second of my devotional books will be released soon. Life Is NOT A Snapshot: It's A Mosaic will follow a similar format of taking everyday life stories and tying them to scriptures. Life really is not frozen into a snapshot of time; it is being sewn together frame by frame into a magnificent mosaic.
I am presently serving as an associational missionary in Northwest Arkansas. I enjoy working with 71 congregations.
I am happily married to my wife, Trudy. We were both widowed and God has graciously brought us together to live out the parables of our lives. Together we have 8 children, 17 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild. WE ARE BLESSED!
