Daniel I. Okimoto is a senior fellow of the Freeman Spogli Institute for International Studies, founder and director-emeritus of the Walter H. Shorenstein Asia-Pacific Research Center, and a professor of political science, all at Stanford University. Jongryn Mo is the dean of Underwood International College and professor of international political economy in the Graduate School of International Studies, Yonsei University, Seoul. He has written numerous articles on the political economy and international relations of East Asia.
