About the Author

Rakhee was born in Trinidad & Tobago, and immigrated to Canada in the 1990s with her mother and father. She resides in Brampton, Ontario with her parents and two younger brothers. This year, Rakhee will graduate from the University of Toronto with majors in Sociology and Professional Writing and Communication, as well as a minor in Historical Studies.
