About the Author

Author Steve Tomecek is a geologist who teaches teachers how to teach science. He has a full schedule of school visits throughout the year, and in between attends conferences where he actively promotes all of his books. Steve is the author of four other books in the Jump Into Science series: DIRT, MOON, STARS, and SUN.
