Christopher Green is Professor of History of Art at the Coutauld Institute, the University of London. Among his major publications are ""Leger and the Avant-Garde"" (1976), ""Cubism and its Enemies: Modern Movements and Reaction in French Art, 1916-1928"" (1987), and ""Juan Gris"" (1992).
