Yes, yes, I needed to be salvaged, recycled and renewed! (And I
needed to smile while doing it!) I skipped right to the
Displacement knot, "I don't know where I belong" and began my

In Gill Scott, I feel like I've found a kindred soul. She has a
very poetic style of writing that stirs your soul, wakes it up from
slumber, and makes you aware of many ways your life can be tied up
in knots... she shares from her own life and experience, and stirs
up the creative embers in your soul to take another look at the
knots and chaos, and seek to unravel them, rather than try to cut
out the knots and start over... every thread is precious... she
relates to the human condition and points in a direction that is
