Before coming to ESPN, Keating was a senior writer at "George," where he covered national politics, and at "Money," where he wrote "The Advocate" columnand won the IRE Award for best magazine article of 1997 for his investigation into drug-switching in the pharmaceutical industry. His work has appeared in publications ranging from "Mother Jones" to "New York" to "Fortune." He lives in Montclair, N.J. with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Eleanor.
