About the Author

Karma Gurung is a Dolpopa, a person from Dolpo, Nepal. By graduating from Westminster College, Missouri, in 2013, he became the first person from his village, Karang, to have an undergraduate degree. He studies Biology and his hobbies are Photography, Music and Art. Ultimately, his goal is to return to the Himalayas and share his knowledge with the rest of Dolpopas.
