About the Author

Karen Finneyfrock is a poet, novelist and teaching artist from Seattle, WA.
Finneyfrock is the author of a 2010 Write Bloody poetry collection, Ceremony for the Choking Ghost. She is also the author of the young adult novel, The Sweet Revenge of Celia Door, which will be released by Viking Children's Books in 2013. LA native, Mindy Nettifee is the director of the non-profit Write Now Poetry Society. Nettifee is the author of two poetry collections, Rise of the Trust Fall (Write Bloody, 2010) and Sleepyhead Assassins (Moon Tide Press, 2006). She is also the author of the informative book, Glitter in the Blood: A Poet's Manifesto for Better, Braver Writing (Write Bloody, fall 2012). NYC is home to author Rachel McKibbens. She is a New York Foundation for the Arts poetry fellow, the author of Pink Elephant (Cypher Books, 2009) and the lucky mother of five rad people.
