About the Author

Mike Forbes has a Transport Masters degree and spent the early part of his career in Transport Management before becoming a journalist with the Motor Transport newspaper and then a PR manager for a well-known transport company. He has been editor of Diecast Collector magazine and is currently editor of Vintage Roadscene. Mike has also authored a number of books and specials including British Lorries since 1945.
