Imam 'Abdallah al-Haddad is widely believed to
have been the spiritual ""renewer"" of the twelfth Islamic century.
A direct descendant of the Prophet Mohammed, his sanctity and
direct experience of God are clearly reflected in his writings,
poetry, and books.
