About the Author

Maria Fedoruk RN, PhD has been with the School of Nursing & Midwifery, University of South Australia since 2000 as a lecturer and project officer. Since 2005 Dr. Fedoruk has developed curricula, and been course coordinator/lecturer in the postgraduate program whilst also teaching in the undergraduate Bachelor of Nursing program. Dr. Fedoruk is an external examiner for the International Medical University (Malaysia) and is an Academic Integrity officer for the School of Nursing & Midwifery. Anne Hofmeyer holds a PhD and Masters Degree (Primary Health Care) from Flinders University, South Australia. Dr Hofmeyer teaches in both the undergraduate and graduate programs and coordinates 5 courses. She is an active peer reviewer for Australian and international journals, has examined postgraduate master and doctoral dissertations for Australian and international universities, published widely, and presented at state/provincial, national and international conferences.
