About the Author

Syed Rifat Mahmood is a founder and president of the American Institute of International Studies. He has written over twenty articles on American foreign policy in the San Francisco Bay Area News Group which consists of: The Oakland Tribune, The Argus, The Daily Review. In the year 2002, he was nominated by the Republican Party of Alameda County in the Silicon Valley area to run for the U.S. Congress.
